Tech-Age of Connecticut

Years ago when I first set up this website I had information on how to help the following businesses:

  • Auto repair
  • Business coach
  • Chiropractor
  • Contractor
  • Dentist
  • Golf course
  • Landscape
  • Lawyer
  • Optometrist
  • Real estate
  • Realtor
  • Restaurant
  • Roofer
  • Vacation
  • Veterinarian
  • Weight loss

However, not being the greatest salesperson, I went another direction, that being “How to survive any situation, be it natural or government caused”, “Homesteading with emphasis on gardening”, “Health and wellness with yoga”, and “Business and personal coaching by the world’s most innovative coach”.

For health and wellness and survival content I have joined with Dr. Ralph La Guardia, the author of the three books above. For business and personal coaching, I have joined with Mike Jay. More on them later.

In the weeks to come I will be adding links on this site to lead one to my sites that relate to the above directions I mentioned. However, for those of you interested in health and nutrition and want to learn more about alternative medicine from the Medical Underground, you will find a lot of free information by visiting https://medicialundergrounddoc.com/access-articles/  or his Substack account at https://medicalunderground.substack.com/.

For those of you who like to design your own website, below are some things you may/need to consider:

The Razor’s Edge and the Difference Between Being the Best and Being Second Best

In today’s world with technology changing at the “speed of light”, it is hard to be the best in your field, and you don’t have to be to succeed at your chosen business. However, you do need to be the best known.

That is where being on the forefront of marketing technology will pay off in a huge way.

If people can’t find you, your business will not grow. So, the saying “If you build it, they will come.” does not always hold true.

With everyone using their handheld devices to look up everything and the Internet being their main source of information,
  1. you must have a web presence and
  2. it must be “mobile friendly” and
  3. it must quickly catch people’s attention and
  4. it must motivate them to contact you by phone, email, or in person.

My mentor Mike Jay taught me a system to set up a website, such that you eliminate the “tire kickers and freebee addicts” by building a 3-step process.

It goes like this:
  1. Page one is called the “SEE” page where you offer something for free which they only receive after they have completed the next 2 steps successfully.
  2. Page two is called the “SURVEY” page where you must answer a question related to your topic. If they answer truthfully, you will have more information about what people are looking for and you may gain insights into how to improve your offer.
  3. Page three is the “SERVICE” page where you go into more detail about your product/service.

People who get to the third page are given the link to the free gift. In most cases when they get to the third page you know they are serious about what you are offering or they are a person who just doesn’t have a life. You may view a sample of this process by visiting HERE.
